New Cisco Certifications
The Information Technologies field (IT) is always growing and evolving. Cisco Industrial Networking Specialist: Primarily for individuals in the manufacturing, process control, and oil and gas industries. “This certification ensures candidates have the foundational skills to manage and administer networked industrial control systems. It provides plant administrators, control system engineers and traditional network engineers with an understanding of the networking technologies needed in today’s connected plants and enterprises.”
Cisco Enterprise IT Business Specialist: Primarily for IT professionals that have some hand in their company’s use of technology. According to Cisco, it does things such as captures business needs, assesses technology options, grants understanding for IT solution’s return on investments, and influences and communicates effectively with business leaders.
Network Programmability: Primarily for IT professionals, this certification improves networking skills by building a stronger networking knowledge base. In addition, it also allows individuals to use current software skills to produce network applications. Overall this will increase the current individual’s skills and bring value to their position and their department.
IT is a big marketplace, but IT professionals need to stay current in the technologies and practices. The new Cisco certifications enable individuals to do just that, and anyone in the IT field could benefit from one of these professional development certifications.
